I don’t want to misquote anyone, so I am transcribing the most clear-cut questions and answers. Anything else will be in the transcript video. Question about tradeskillers making kilts and getting more styles. Q: Freeport and Qeynos lets anyone do writs. Neriak is more picky. Gorowyn is selective as well. Can this be made more consistent? Q: A Krono is $17.99. Why is it more than 30 days sub costs at Walmart for $14.99? A: We don’t endorse the selling of cards in-game, but it’s a completely supported in-game method of trading in-game subs. Q: Are you going to...

From Ahma on the EQ2 Forums: Hey folks! As GM Feyodor said, this is a display issue only. People can win the Majestic Pridewing from the Goblin Games–and there are a number who have won it. The Pridewing is an elusive beast, though. Sorry for the confusion on the loot list. We’re getting that fixed right now.

Those Goblin Game Tickets we heard about are now available on the StationCash marketplace on the Test server. It looks like the ticket is only consumed after you succeed at one of the three mini-games and receive one of the prizes. Thus far, the prizes seem to be run-of-the-mill StationCash items. From the EQ2 Test Forums: Now in the Test server marketplace, under the Goblin Games category, you can buy a Gigglegibber Glockenspiel for 100SC which will allow you to play one of three games. You recieve a prize everytime you win, selected at random from the following list:
Those Walmart 1500+500SC cards aren’t going away, but if you redeem a 1500SC/30-day Game Card from Best Buy this weekend, you’ll also get 500SC bonus. From the EQ2 Forums: Get a 500 Station Cash Bonus when you buy a $15 SOE Pre-paid Game Card at Best Buy and redeem between August 17-19th.
We recently saw the end of paying EQ2 subscriptions with StationCash (which, due to triple SC weekends and 50% off sales, allowed players to buy a YEAR’S EQ2 subscription for $14.99 — or an EQ2 sub for as little as $1.25 a month). On August 29th, the ability to buy EQ2 expansions for StationCash will similarly come to an end. With various promotions, it was possible to buy an EQ2 expansion normally retailing for $39.95 for as little as $6.65. SOE is providing this upcoming weekend as a grace period to buy expansions for 50% off with StationCash. The...

One month ago (May 20th, 2012), SOE offered a 50% Rebate on the entire StationCash Marketplace. When compounded with Triple StationCash weekends and Walmart 500SC Bonus cards, this meant $15 could buy one year’s EQ2 subscription. On June 8th, EQ2 Subscriptions vanished from the StationCash Marketplace. After an outcry, SOE President John Smedley stepped in and admitted that the pricing of EQ2 Subscriptions was being impacted by various SC discounts and sales, and then announced that EQ2 Subscriptions would be restored to the Marketplace for a one week grace period so players who wanted to fund EQ2 Subscriptions with...

SOE President John Smedley has personally addressed the removal of EQ2 Subscriptions from the StationCash Marketplace: Quick note – I’m sorry we didn’t do a good job of messaging this. It was handled while we were at E3 and that was bad. Very simply put we pulled the non-recurring subscriptions because we want a closer look at the numbers and how our overall pricing of subscriptions is impacted by it. I don’t want anyone thinking they were pulled because of double DC promotions or anything like that. We know what we’re getting into when we run those promotions. We’ve...
UPDATE According to SOE President John Smedley, EQ2 Subscriptions will reappear on the Marketplace for 1 week to allow players to buy their subscriptions. EverQuest 2 subscriptions unceremoniously disappeared from the StationCash marketplace yesterday, and players have had plenty to say on the subject. The removal was not unanticipated, but doing so without advanced warning, an announcement, or even an acknowledgment, is yet another betrayal of player’s trust in SOE.
This weekend, if you redeem $15 StationCash cards, you will be credited with 1,500SC plus 500SC bonus, for a total of 2,000SC. This works out to a 33% bonus — or if you prefer, a 25% discount. After Double and Triple StationCash weekends, 50% off sales, and Rebates, it will be interesting to see how much pent up demand is satisfied with the relatively meager discount this go-around.
From the EQ2 Forums: From Friday, May 25, 2012 at 12:01 pm (noon) Pacific through Monday, May 28, 2012 at 11:59 pm Pacific you’ll get an instant rebate for half your Station Cash back when you purchase almost anything** in the EverQuest II Marketplace!
