So, here’s the official thingy from the EQ2 Forums: ASCENSION Members now receive five bonus Guided Ascension scrolls per week from the Ascension masters. When these bonus scrolls are claimed you will be not be able to receive any more bonus scrolls for six days and 20 hours. EverQuest II’s fifth expansion The Shadow Odyssey unlocked on the Stormhold [Time-Locked Expansion] server on January 12th. After various server crashes last night on Halls of Fate, we now have an unscheduled downtime today for all EQ2 servers. From the EQ2 Forums: All US Servers will come down at 2 PM PT for a brief update to address a few outstanding issues. Downtime is anticipated to be less than 2 hours. The EU server will come offline at 9 PM PT (5 AM UTC) for the same update. Downtime is anticipated to be less than 2 hours.

As players have been reporting in several threads: Launchpad saying unable to connect Launchpad not working Game Installation Feb 4 unable to login / connect [Suggestion] can we please finally get new login servers? and according to several twitter posts by Daybreak Games, the company is having issues with its Login Servers. This issue has been ongoing for at least two days, with some players having issues prior to that. We are still investigating intermittent login issues that are affecting all of our titles.
