Log in to your favorite participating game and find the 10% membership discount increased to 25%! Not an All Access member yet? Sign up today and take advantage of these offers. A few players have reported on the forums and in-game that the StationCash they are buying within the EverQuest II client doesn’t seem to be doubled. We have not yet received any confirmation on this, and when asked, the folks who reported an issue double-checked and found that they did in fact get their purchased StationCash for half-price. The confusion may be that the in-game prices are already adjusted for the sale. If you want to avoid confusion, there are several other ways to buy StationCash, including heading directly to SOE.com, logging in, and funding your SC wallet there....
From EverQuest2.com: Sony Online Entertainment is kicking off the holiday shopping season with two fantastic promos: Double Station Cash on Black Friday and In-Game Marketplace Deals on Cyber Monday! Double Station Cash will only awarded between 12:00am PT (U.S.) to 11:59:59pm PT, so don’t miss out! Check back this weekend to see what special deals we’re offering All Access members for Cyber Monday. Happy Holidays from the gaming elves at Sony Online...
Challenge and depth are the spices that keep players coming back to EverQuest II despite the popularity of mass market MMOs like World of Warcraft, and the allure of expertly marketed glitzy new MMOs that are all appetizer and no entree. However while Tears of Veeshan seemed to strike a good balance of difficulty and progression, the overwhelming feedback on the forums, in chat channels, and in my personal experience so far for Altar of Malice is that the EQ2 team overshot on difficulty and rarity. I group 2-4 hours per week in a casual guild. We didn’t just...

Gigglegibbers and Frostfell elves are busy celebrating the holiday within the player cities, and encouraging everyone to visit the Frostfell Wonderland Village, accessed through the Magic Closets in Qeynos Province District, Freeport, Haven, Kelethin, Neriak, Gorowyn and New Halas. Looks like SOE is expanding its Player Direct program which seeks to highlight player-made content such as fansites, Youtube videos, Twitch streams, and more on official SOE communication channels. From Colette “Dexella“ on the EQ2 Forums: Every player has a unique experience, story, and point of view, especially when it comes to games. The types of players who create streams, videos, articles, memes, and more share a deeper, richer story with their communities. That is the heart of our newly expanded Player Direct program.

If you are a Player Studio creator for EverQuest II or have an interest in developing weapons, cloaks, or house items for EQ2, then you’ll be thrilled at the news that, next Tuesday, a free tool is being added to the EQ2 client to allow designers to get a better idea of how their creations will appear in-game. When 3D artists create these items in Blendr, Lightwave, 3D Studio Max, Maya, Zbrush, etc. the resulting geometry looks very different to how it looks in-game. This is due to the lighting and shaders which are unique to EQ2. The new Player Studio...

Through December 31st, if you buy a shirt from SOE’s apparel partner J!NX, you will get a bundle of in-game items in EQ, EQ2, Landmark, Planetside 2, and H1Z1 (whenever it launches). Personally I find J!NX’s 14-item SOE offerings to be woefully inadequate, especially in light of the 317 items they produce for Blizzard fans. More importantly, there is actually nothing in the J!NX store tailored towards EverQuest II fans. Still, if you are a completionist and must get every in-game item, you’d better head to J!NX: Do you love showing your gamer pride? Have you been struggling to find the...

This may seem self-evident, but playing the Altar of Malice expansion these next two weeks (November 11-24) prior to the widespread release is a thank you given to All Access subscribers for their continued support. Free-to-Play users will be able to buy and start playing Altar of Malice on November 25, 2014. If you are currently All Access, bought Altar of Malice, and let your All Access subscription expire during the early access, you will be booted to Antonica and not able to access expansion zones until November 25th! My opinion: It would not be fair for people who renewed their...

Sorry for the inconvenience!
