  1. I don’t know why they bother with any of this PvP nonsense. I enjoyed BGs when they were released and still play a few from time to time, but it’s clear they can’t/won’t design solid PvP. Nearly every change to BGs since they were released has made the experience worse. Supposedly, the PvP servers have gone downhill since KoS as well.

  2. Shouldn’t they have had just one Battleground token to begin with? I like how they consolidate things like it’s the best idea they ever had. When the way they started was convoluted anyway.

  3. The way they did it was basically a safeguard to make sure that each scenario was relevant. Yeah, one token would be great if they balanced it all perfectly so that each scenario rewarded tokens at the same rate, but of course they won’t do that, and people who are after gear will probably just end up doing speed runs through Ganak or something. No way that at least one, possibly two, of the scenarios doesn’t suffer from the consolidation.

And yeah Xalmat, the method or team that they used to create PvP and BGs must have been far better than the method/team they use to maintain it. Look at how many changes they’ve made that turn out to hurt more than they help. It’s puzzling how the original BGs (and supposedly the original PvP ruleset) somehow ended up decently enjoyable considering the gross incompetence they’ve shown post-release with both.

  4. I hate to mention, wow, but why not use the honor style system? Just gain honor and spend it to buy items. I mean its not like they did not take the BG idea from others at any rate. Token system is dated at best
