Noooooooooo – they needed to ADD the word “sturdy” to the name of the items. All the other apprentice items have “sturdy”. For 100 levels – every single item has “sturdy”…. except those two.
Yep, and while they are at it restore the ability to craft a number of these at one time so that you can turn them in later.
Hmmm you can, I’ve been crafting 100 stacks of these for the last few days.
You can craft multiple items at a time but after the first one they do not update the quest from your inventory.
You can craft them, but the quest won’t recognize them. To get credit, you must craft the item each time you get the quest. This only effects the lvl 100 items – all the lower tiers will still pull from your stash to update the quest.
Oh drat, thats pretty annoying, thanks for the heads up.
Hopefully just an oversight that will get fixed soon then I hope. Going to hold on to my 100 stacks for now.
Fortunately I’ve only progressed one toon to 100 tradeskill, the other 8 are at 95 still. I don’t fancy working on them if I have to start craftng each RA item individually again like back in the days before Mass Production, not for 9 toons every day, have other stuff to do!
Hope the devs fix this soon then.
They won’t be “fixing it” in the manner you wish.
It has been described on the official forums as “design decision/working as intended” now. They didn’t correct the lower tiers ability to pre-craft the items but are not going to allow it for the new content.
I noticed this a couple weeks ago and dropped a /bug report. Seems that you can still CREATE AND USE stacks of T10 crafted items for the TS apprentices – but not the new T11 items.
This. Very yes
AAAAAaaaaaannnndd Pet arena merchant got left in the cold again. Score keeper part of the arena still won’t keep score, so no way for people to get access to the items on the pet arena merchant. It’s ONLY been broken since 2006…. What am I, Impatient or something?
I’ve /bugged, /feedbacked/petitioned, even PMed devs… I’ve been told there are no current plans on fixing it. So I ask if they could move or reuse the appearance of the house items on another merchant… and I’m told no, those are a goal for players to reach… which brings me back to the “Will you fix it please” and they won’t… It’s one big frustrating cycle of stupid.
I know it’s a low priority, and most people forgot it’s even there… but FFS…. 8 YEARS waiting for a bug fix? -.- Flipping ridiculous.
/vent off

This is, by far, the best quote I have ever heard, EVER, to describe life. Years and years from now, when asked what it’s like in the “real world”, I’ll be telling my students, my children, and grandchildren, this very quote.
It is the most poignant, lucid, perspicacious, sagacious, yet succinct utterance I have ever read. The only description of life more laconic, moving, and true (though not an actual sentence) is: “42.”
Thank you for this. I am quite literally smarter and wiser and I will use it liberally.
