  1. Skyshrine x4 raid zones, challenge mode

Belkreiz Blazeclaw will no longer spam messages about reckless adds unless an add actually spawns due to the Time Vortex Curse.

I don’t like being a grammar nazi, but why would you only make these changes for challenge mode? Why wouldn’t you also fix these announcements on EM?

    1. Uh…oK, what was happening at 91-92? was it not giving shard or equivalent?

It was giving nothing. Empty chest. Remember scaling TSO zones give different rewards based on your level or no reward if you “grey out” the zone.

  2. They have completely messed up the game that i love. Me and my wife have played EQ2 for over 6 years and I am sad that it is ending. It is pretty unbelievable that they raised the level cap two levels, made DoV part 1 obsolete and left so little content for end game. Unbelievable!

  3. @ reignshield
Is this a whine-bot or a real person. Cross posting irrelevant gripes is something I’m surprised Feldon didn’t go delete happy on.

more on topic, if the auto attack preferred mode thing works for rangers AND the wands, I’d be very pleased.

nothing much more than patch and soe announcements lately with some fairly outdated adorn finder data; is this a sign that you guys are enjoying PLAYING more these days?

It’s a sign I’m traveling Europe rather than responding to faff. 🙂

I still firmly believe that skyshrine is nice content but not enough to be the “only” level 90+ content til December. It would have made a great companion to DoV. Also the raid content is dead easy.

  4. Also the raid content is dead easy.

I’ll take it. DoV1 was way too script- and event-heavy, and the round robin Charlie Foxtrot that was progression showed it. I’m enjoying all things Skyshrine far, far more. That goes for the instances too, which backed away from the ‘x1 raid’ mentality that reigned previously.

Dov1 should have been dialed down and tuned over time. Instead the mobs stood unkillably broken for months. Then Skyshrine is killed by the top 25 guilds inside 3 weeks.

It’s wild swings instead of smartly balanced content that is adjusted over time to match player progression and expectations. It’s total overreactions 3-6 months after players have already moved on. The EQ2 team needs to be agile and adaptive.
