It’s 4 hours since the launch of Sentinel’s Fate, and we are already hearing widespread reports of players who have reached level 85, 87, and even some level 90 characters. So there you have it, no longer is questing a required way to level.
Unfortunately I wonder how many players will completely skip the contested version of The Hole with as easy as it is to level. I really hoped we’d see a return to form of Kingdom of Sky with people leveling via a combination of dungeon crawls, heroic quests, etc. rather than just pressing the Easy button . I hope I’m wrong.
Some people I know of saved like 150 collections + they did all TSO single shard quests the daysbefore release and waited with turning them in.
I agree that going from lvl 80-90 should be something that takes both time and effort. And cooperation.
Shoot, I don’t even have my copy yet. Hubby brings it home soon. One of my guildmates said there’s an quicker way to 90 (sounds like in zones with lots of mobs to AoE down). Which I might be interested in on like..my fifth time through.
have they nerfed the 70-80 rok xp needed yet?
Yea just hit broker with 300p in your pocket and you can hit 85 in 15-20 minutes, and if you get the potions for both AA and exp with it, you will prolly be way up there with you AA’s also..
Easy button anyone ?
Imo, quests completed but not turned in before the release date should no longer give Exp, that would prevent a legal exploit, as this is, for sure..
I think you will find that many of the high level folk have levelled by grinding in the hole after handing i old quests etc. So it is being used
I wouldnt really call it an exploit…we all knew the expansion was coming out…and we all had the option to stock pile completed quests. Its not like they can do it again.
We had rotating groups grinding in the bottom mobs 88-89 mobs in The Hole on Launch day. Most of our guild mates are 90 and a good handful have already completed our Mythic conversion quests.
It does seem a problem to me allowing people to save upto 75 quests before SF and potentially 100’s of collection quests.
A rule where only quests and collections completed before entering SF would be handy, even then the collections are possible (if messy!) to get around. Even then there will be people doing it much faster using XP potions, but 30-40 hours sounds to me like the sort of time it should have taken to complete.
