  1. I’m not sure what the point is of including the first 7 expansions, since I doubt anyone could get past the first few in only 14 days (without help, at least). Unless they are suggesting someone could get to, say, Sentinel’s Fate content in a mere 2 weeks, in which case there’s no reason to continue past the 14 days. I would suspect it’s completely meaningless fluff for their advertisement. I would compare it to advertising that the speedometer on the average car goes up to 150 or so. Who cares? The majority of buyers would never utilize that “feature.”

  2. The idea is that if they decide to keep playing and start paying the monethly fee, they get to keep all of the expansions that they have access too for free. This program has been around for quite sometime now, it was just not very well publicised as they were pushing the EQ2x aspect. I had a friend sign up last summer just after fan faire and he got the 14 day free trial and got to keep all of the expansions for free.
Anyway th eidea is to get them interested in playing by offering them all of the expansions except for the latest one for free. Then, once they are hooked, they have to buy the new one when it comes out to keep progressing and playing with their new friends.

  3. For those who rolled a test account: Does voice chat work (if you are in the same group?). Did anyone check guilding? (since it is a very helpful travel method) And finally, is there any time limit on this? Does the opportunity have an expiration date for when you can START the 14 days?
