Hail Norrathians,
We’re grateful for your patience as we worked through some technical issues with our servers. While our fixes seem stable so far, we want to take more time to test and verify our changes before launching GU103: The Menagerie. Since we want to ensure that the launch of our next game update is as smooth and stable as possible, we’ve decided to move the launch of GU103: The Menagerie to Tuesday, May 9, 2017.
To thank you for your patience and support, we’ll be activating Triple XP (AA, Adventure, Tradeskill) for ALL players and ALL servers starting now. This will run until Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 11:59PM PDT (07:00 UTC).
In addition, we’ll be activating Double Ascension Scrolls starting on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 12:01AM PDT (7:00 UTC). This will run through Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 11:59PM PDT (07:00 UTC).

– triple xp
-no bonus xp for ascension.
oops. Didn’t read double scrolls lol.
100/200% bonus to ascension XP still would have been welcomed, I think! =)
Please sell the EQ franchise. Please, I’m begging you.
Compensatory bonus XP = much cheaper than hiring more developers and modernizing your IT infrastructure. So good everybody is pleased!
Not to mention, they nerfed exp in older zones by about 80% for all chars. So now with X3 exp, you can grind your low level alts slower than in Jan!
I’m still “conceptually” on-board with the EXP change, but i’m dreading the real-world effect to be honest.
I’m getting really burnt out on logging in daily and running Adv Solos for a small overall chunk of EXP, rinse and repeating.
I took a level 91 alt into Skyshrine, which should be relevant content for someone that level, and was getting horrible XP for kills and quests. Server bonus + 200% vet + potion + sub + shrine, yielded around 150XP after killing an encounter, ridiculous. I didn’t want to waste the free level 100 bauble on someone so close to 100, but the wonderful devs have made it incredibly painful to level adventuring now.
