From the EQ2 Forums:
GENERAL
- Resolved a common issue that would cause Call of Veteran (and other travel methods) to think players were still in combat when they were not.
POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION
The Dreadcutter: The Pirate Kings [Raid]
- The encounter should no longer occasionally reset when witchdoctors spawn.
BATTLEGROUNDS
Gears of Klak’Anon
- Damage from the relic will no longer be attributed to the player holding it.
So, yet again we have zone zone zone zone zone updates and new content modifications and not a single engine fix. Considering soe can have servers down every day and as of last year only thing we have gotten is a content update and no mechanics patches since DoV came out. I’d say we are looking EQ2 devel team being 1 designers, Holly and not a single coder working for eq2.
Interesting..
working on EQN i guess
What are you talking about?
EQ2 servers typically go down once a week for 30-45 minutes for an update.
There have been fixes and tweaks to every class, mechanics, etc. since DoV. The update notes between DoV and today would be about 25 pages if you printed them all out. The problem with making idiotic statements that are easily disproven is, well, it makes you look like an idiot.
I’d say it’s a wonder you figure out how to get out of bed, turn on the computer, and write comments on a website with your towering intellect. How do you even remember to breathe?
Genetix, STFU. Nobody cares to hear you rant like a sissy. And in case you haven’t been online each day, the servers don’t go down daily. Its apparent you get pissy when these little updates don’t directly do what you want.
NEWS FLASH – this game doesn’t cater to your wants/desires. Take your moaning elsewhere.
I’ve heard THIS one before . . . I’ll want at least a month of “issue free” COV-ing before I even start believing it . . . In other words, I WON’T hold my breath . . . but I WILL cross my fingers!
Don’t count on issue free, but a large number of combat-related breakages should be resolved.
They did some how break kill updates in bg’s š
