  1. Ugh, if red adorns are going to cost greater spirits, they REALLY should drop in raid zones, at least from the final names in each zone. Does that setup sound ass backwards to anyone else (solo for yellow, group for red, AND no plat in raids… WTF)

  2. The final named in each CoE raid zone will supposedly drop 1 greater spirit in GU65.5, if they actually do what they said when they announced this. They’ve said they’ll drop for everyone in raid, but it doesn’t explicitly mention if the requirement for the signature quest unlock will be on the raid drop ones or if it’ll stay on the regular obols either. Since you can convert spirits to obols, my guess is the raid drop spirits will be for everyone regardless of quest completions but trash drop obols and heroic drop spirits will remain gated to the quest. Incidentally, I have no idea why they’d be calling this 65.5. It’s introducing new content, that fits the bill of a game update. God knows we’ve had GUs with significantly less content, why they’d chose to call this not a GU when we’re already down to 3-4/yr is a bit odd.

  3. I surely hope they dont force us to have to run the zones, the loot in them to me isnt worth my time, not even for alts imo, yet now to get an adorn I am forced to run them in HOPES this item will drop? wow I really dont like that thought.

Isn’t that exactly how it is now, but this gives you a chance to buy the adorns for obols/spirits instead?

  5. I’m annoyed that you can’t get the adorns you want to drop. DoV had it right where if you got the rune once, then you could keep buying it over and over – I have a feeling that it’s not going to work this way and it’s still going to be hard to get the ones you want.

  6. Thanks for making another great reference Feldon.

I think these adornments being so readily available is gonna increase worldwide raid dps noticeably. I know I’ll gain 6cb on my coercer and some of my raiding guildies are gonna get much more.

Now if only Truespirit’s Legacy would drop more regularly…

  7. Well, Adornment sales are huge upgrade, but half of that list of dropped red and yellow adornments won’t stack with each other (for example tank mig. buffs, healer warding buffs) and worst news is they are on totally different names like ‘soul shielding’ + ‘Silver Rampart’ = only first item at gear procs and even worst news is you most like have the lowest possible proc at your raid gear.

  8. Are people really complaining that its too hard to get Obols/Spirits?
This just makes getting those adorns EASIER.

I’m pissed that they are making it too damn easy after I farmed my ass off to get all the 2.5cb and 4cb runes the hard way, tbh.

  9. Let’s hope that SOE has the presence of mind to remove the purchasable adornments from the random drop table. I don’t see any statement to this effect in what SOE published…

Frankly though, this still leaves a situation where nonsensical adornments will randomly drop on gear – for instance, hate gain/virulent wrath on scout armor/weapons.

Obviously a designer had the idea that after players have gotten the 4-5 items off a mob’s loot table, that content can be kept relevant by random adornments which must be broken off through a crafter recipe. I understand the sentiment, but it has made being a Raid Leader hell.

  10. The above list seems to be missing Lesser Potency and Why do Renewing Bulwak II (yellow) and Greater Renewing Bulmark II (Red) have the same Ward 2200 and regen (220)?

Ok so SOE is calling both the red and yellow adornment “Potency II” while the pattern with all the other yellow adornments mean it should be called “Lesser Potency II”.

Can’t fix the Renewing Bulwark issue. ๐Ÿ˜‰
