Ohh double SC … who CARES !!!! should have done AoD or CoE at $20 that would be a GREAT Black Friday deal. This one is lame. As lame as the new expansion which isnt worth more than $22
I mean come on, these obols are so F’n rare in heroic zones but so common in raid zones .. makes NO sense.
Obols can be farmed in obol and eilodon after the sig quest is done. The Solo mobs start droping them, they are kinda rare though.
I agree, after triple station cash a couple of weeks ago, double does seem rather wishywashy. How about our double exp, too? It’s a holiday weekend …
I like the new expansion, actually, it’s been fun completing the quest lines, although I hit a wall in Sleeper’s solo. Still, I have enjoyed it, but the rewards for the quests could be just a little bit better, most have not been an upgrade from SS.
I got the SOE email while I was out Black Friday shopping, so picked up a couple of cards. Helps with up scaling the spells for all of the alts that just hit 95 and the Upscaling is 600 SC where the research reducers will run you 750 sc.
We may still get double XP if you read the whole e-mail/article it says that there will be multiple promotions over the holiday weekend. Just have to log in to find out what they are.
Do Obols drop in the Adv solo zones? I can confirm they are UBER rare in the group zones…. the group I was in did 5 heroic zones the other day, only ONE Obol dropped and we didn’t see ANY of the ‘special’ drops that are required to buy the end-questline merchant gear. They need to ramp up the drops on those too.
I am so underwhelemed it is um, underwhelming. Nothing in game, no sale on sc items. What a waste.
Liftik, my guildies that have finished the quest line and get Obols have been getting them with great frequency in the group zones. Not sure why you’re seeing it so differently.
Obols drop from trash in overland zones too. Got a bunch just killing trash in OP outside harrows zone in

BAH, some of the loot from group heroics aren’t tradeable after looting .. such inconsitenceny .. I wish they would have Hot Zones back for recent expansions.
@Anaogi… yeah I don’t know either. Finished the questline & haven’t seen ANY of the special drops necessary for merchant gear & 2 Obols in the past week. They’re beyond rare.
