Feldon Here is your Update Note for Thursday, March 8, 2012:
Public Quests
- Cloudy Velium Jewels should now be heirloom.
Remember, you can get up to two Cloudy Velium Jewels per day, per Public Quest, per character. So 2 from Ring War, 2 from Storm Gorge (if you are a glutton for punishment) each day per character. Once you have 40,000 faction with Thurgadin or Ry’Gorr, you can buy an Heirloom faction token to give 50,000 faction to all your alts. There is no equivalent token for the Othmir, Snowfang, or Thurgadin Crafters.
Storm gorge does not seem as hard as it used to be, maybe I was lucky and a few people were uber geared (most of the three group raid were healers), if so I didn’t notice them.
But we did just power through it, the end boss and his four minions were just all killed together last time I did it, the whole thing barely took longer then a ring war.
So if enough people do join in it is very profitable, personally I like the small groups there too, they offer a challenge for sure.
You can actually get another cloudy velium jewel per day from the solo shard quest in Thurgadin harbour, so a total of five per character.

I know you can turn in cloudy velium jewels into Snowfang and Othmir factions.
I just did it the other day out of curiosity to see if it would later open up more quests in the next velious expansion update.
I know I am preaching to the choir, and i dont wait it to be a b**** fest. But these daily down times are pathetic. My few times i am able to play seems to always be when there is a downtime. *SIGH*
The CVJs are indeed heirloom now.
But they only stack to 20 in your shared bank. /cheer
Now only if I could trade these between my accounts…
Nice update only bout 7 months late for a fix…sadly the pq’s are hardly done anymore on naggy
pq’s are pretty much still run non-stop on Oasis, or at least they are on the times im on. Though SG is still a pain unless someone like Tica sets up a raid for it.
this could help me work up faction for the othmir and snowfang by shifting all jewels to the one character who’s got the highest faction already. It’s a nice change.

I’d be pleased to see a token like the existing faction ones that is tradeable and let it cost say 500p.
I’d buy 5 in a heartbeat.
A token for other factions would be nice… All they sell is heirloom anyway so what’s the point asking for someone to grind their faction doing like 40 days of faction quest to get what ? achievement ?
