Feldon Well, we’ve been ready to post this for a few hours now and have just been waiting for the Update Notes. But the servers just went down and there are still no notes. From the EQ2 Forums:
All U.S. servers will come down for a hotfix at 7am PST on Tuesday, November 29, 2011. The expected downtime is two hours.

I am terribly sorry that someone did not post the patch notes.
Just to explain a bit, since this has come up in the past – someone on the development side usually posts the patch notes and I post the downtime notification for players. That is why they are separated. I will check with them and see what the patch notes were and get some info posted for everyone.

There were no player facing changes with this downtime which is why no patch notes were listed. The downtime was for some database maintenance. I can put up patch notes that mention this in the future to prevent confusion.

ho maybe they are finally going to fix the exploit i have found and reported that gives you an infinite number of legendary and fabled t7 items in a few hours… ho wait no that’s 1 month ago and it’s not fixed yet…

I did not think you all needed patch notes, rofl. I like the idea of posting nothing changed, at least on the side of my pc.
You’ll have to excuse me, too many ‘undocumented changes’ have led to a certain level of cynicism on the matter. Nothing personal, you understand…
It’s not just patch notes where communication is poor. For those of us on Splitpaw, sometimes no notification is posted at all about downtime. That’s happened a couple of times. Today it was posted but only 2 and a half hours before the downtime.
