It seems the only differentiation we have in gear now is Adornments, so those Adornments ought to work smoothly. Well, they didn’t. Many proc effects were getting resisted or weren’t able to be stacked. Fortunately, we have good news from Xelgad after the jump…
These procs have been fixed internally so they cannot be resisted. Coming to live servers soon (tm.)
The list of affected procs:
- Repugnant Cloud
- Discombobulate
- Velium Flames
- Phantasmal Siphon
- Armor Chink
- Sorcerer’s Bore
- Mocking Blow
- Bane of the Kromzek
- Draft of Velium
- Elemental Detonation
- Eye of Rallos
- Harrowing Winds
- Prophetic Affliction
- Quenching Stream
- Smoldering Affliction
- Strength Through Sacrifice
- Torrent of Incantations
- Torrent of Rime
- Torrent of Toxins
In addition, Quenching Stream, Smoldering Affliction and Prophetic Affliction now can be applied to the target at the same time.
Waning Might and Cerebral Destruction should not be able to be resisted either. If they still are resisted after the update, feel free to let me know and I’ll take another look.
Gotta love how many bugs Everquest 2 has.
I’m starting to wonder if SOE even does testing anymore.
Live servers are the test server 2.0; d’uh.
and whats the sucess rate at fixing bugs..about 60% and I’m being very kind on that number.
Let’s fix the title of this post so that it states HEROIC content please
Why is the word Heroic in the title Jrel? Not one single one of those adornments drop in Heroic zones, they are all raid drops. Are you saying that they are being resisted only in heroic zones?
Recently noticed a bug on the “stout” adornments. Says in big bold red letters this effect will not stack with itself. However due to weapon upgrades had 2 swords with the same adornment, and they stack. Im not complaining I kinda like pulling epics with 60k hp… Makes you wonder how many of these “dose not stack” adornments actually stack.
EQ2 has a lot of bugs, just like WoW and any other large MMO. I do think things are improved though due to that big bug bash GU Brenlo did, at the time people were whinging about how little content there was but even today we see the results, no falling through the world, mobs falling through the world and harvest spawns are mostly on the ground etc 🙂
Still, shader 3.0 is the one I’d like to really see fixed up seriously.
