  1. Warden changes are nice, if a little bit underwhelming. They make sense (which is a bit shocking) but there really isn’t much of anything specific to us.

    We get an interrupt (which most other priests are getting it seems) but ours is on a long reuse group root, which shares the same problem our deaggro has (rooting the encounter, which isn’t always wanted). At least the points in the deaggro AA for the positional detaunt are free to use elsewhere now.

    The rebirth change was long overdue. It might actually be worth having on a spec for solo healing or harder content. But still nothing to address the uselessness of TS on CM fights that ignore it. Also a bit annoyed they still refuse to change Wrath of Nature to not overwrite between warden and fury.

    I can’t speak for other classes, but what I’m seeing for Warden certainly isn’t game-changing, just a few long-overdue changes and a bit of common-sense thrown at some AAs (like the old haste -> potency being changed to haste -> CB).

  2. Mana Flow now restores 40% power. It can no longer crit.

    ^ also.. what are they thinking??.. at this point i believe they are purposely trying to kill off eq2.. this makes really no sense at all to me.

  3. Fury storm DPS/heal prestige spell is being nerfed hard…..thanks soe for once again slapping the face of all Druids everywhere. God forbid we are useful on raids now….better fix that….why do you just delete the class and be done with it…sheesh…

  4. What bugs me most about my class? As a Necro, we are supposed to be the masters of death, and when FINALLY given the ability to self rez, as a Necro SHOULD be able to do?, now we have to spec into it on a tree no DPS Necro would ever choose. Necros should have a NATURAL ability to self rez. We then rez the healer, healer rezzes the rest of the raid, we move on.
    Give us Self Rez ability as a class given. Maybe make it so you have to be lvl 85 to get it? I don’t know, but I was very happy to see it come into game, then sad to see it taken away (If I want to be utility, I suppose I could get it back)

  5. Mega you describe the essense of utility in your group whipe scenario then complain that the utility skill you deem is your classes’ destiny is down a utility aa line. Try a little harder to grasp the trade-off concept of an RPG, and please stop with the “natural abilities” argument. That’s a slipperty slope.

    Im happy that it seems Storm of Steel may actually be useful.

  6. For me cannibalize on live does 50-60 percent power ever time i click it. 25 percent is half or more of that, just a bad change all together imo. All of the power abilities not being able to crit is a bad idea. why change something that isnt broken? i know im not the only one that has an issue with this.

  7. “Tradeskill Apprentices are hard at work preparing new recipes from materials discovered in the new Velious zones.” It only took an entire expansion to update what we paid for in the last expansion. I’m the last guy to complain about tradeskilling stuff because I hate doing it. But this was unacceptable. Those of us that purchased Age of Discovery got ripped off.

  8. Wow, some really big changes to a few classes that I played, my favorite being Charm and Possess Essence for free. It makes me wonder if Wardens and Rangers still have those AA lines to charm animals for 3 concentration. I tried them both way back when and they were worthless but kind of fun.

    Interesting also to see a couple heroic moments get some love. I wonder how many layers of dust they had to blow off to even find them in the database.

  9. LOL at brig nerfs…Like we were anywhere near top of parse as it was. I love my brig,but next to a BL,assassin,almost any dps class..make them look better,which imo is our job,but come on,we did NOT need nerfed
