GameStop and EBGames (remember Electronics Boutique? ;)) have an exclusive Double StationCash promotion this weekend. Cards purchased from those stores can be redeemed for 3000SC or 30 days of EQ2 Subscription at SOE.com during this time.
Remember, EQ2 Subscriptions and Expansions can no longer be purchased with StationCash. Also, redeeming these cards for 30 days of EQ2 subscription will not double to 60 days. However you may want to stock up to buy house items and cloaks designed by fellow players when PlayerStudio goes online.
From EverQuest2.com:
Get Double Station Cash when you buy an SOE Pre-Paid Card at GameStop® or EBGames™ and redeem between September 14, 2012 through September 16, 2012.
*Redeem between 12:01AM 9/14/2012 to 11:59PM PDT 9/16/2012.
Offer valid for cards purchased in the United Status, Canada, Australia and New Zealand only.

Nobody would go to the trouble to calculate time zones for Australia and New Zealand?
I am that nobody!
I’m really curious to know how much of a drop off in sales there is during these double station cash events.
Yeah. Station Cash is pretty much worthless now that you can’t buy gold subscriptions or expansion packs with it.
Are there even any EB Games left? I thought Gamestop bought them all? We had thre here in town and all have been GameStops now for years (the silly part is that they are all within a mile of each other).
Yes I DO remember Electronic Boutique! I used to buy all my Intellivision Games there!
@Feldon That’s pretty cool with the zone conversions!
Thank you Feldon!
EB Games is in Australia. No Game Stop here that I’ve noticed. With the extra high retail prices for games and heavy bias toward console games (one 4 foot section for PC games last time I went into one) there’s little reason for me to go to EB. Yay for electric download editions!
