  1. I’m running Firefox 3.6.28 which may be the issue. I am unsatisfied with the performance and reliability of Firefox 10/11/12/whatever. I’ll probably have to switch to Google Chrome which I currently only use for translating Danish websites.

I get a double navigation bar, which makes selecting things from menus a dicey proposition. And the LEFT and RIGHT buttons on the newsflash box don’t work.

  2. Can confirm the glitches with FF 3.6.28 Feldon. Have been having random behavior with graphics and video with this older version off FF lately. Looks like I’ll have to bite the bullet and go to the memory hog known as Chrome too.

  3. I’m running 3.6.26 and see the issue you’re talking about but can work around it.

When the page loads, both navigation bars are shown and neither tab is selected (Get Started or Players). Clicking either Get Started or Players selects that tab and only displays the proper, functioning, navigation bar.

Looks like whatever code they’re using to default it to one or the other doesn’t quite work in these older versions of firefox.

Just checked and it does the same thing for me in IE8 on Vista.

  4. I noticed the broken top menu today as well. Also running Firefox 3.6.28, or as a co-worker affectionately called it last week, the Windows XP of Mozilla. 😉

@Dethdlr: Thanks for the “fix”, good enough workaround for now. 😉
