Here are your update notes for today, January 19th:
GENERAL
- Fixed a bug with house item tooltips that would sometimes show incorrect housing restrictions.
- Group Friend spells should once again work on warders and pets.
MERCENARIES
- Blurt Grasplung should now cure detrimental spells on groupmates.
TRADESKILL APPRENTICES
- The Tradeskill Apprentice Daily quest will now only take 1 of the required quest item instead of every item of that type in your inventory.
- Tradeskill Apprentice Daily quest reward potions are now Heirloom instead of No Trade.
ITEMS
- The Soulripper Shield and Wyrmscale Armwraps can now be equipped by Beastlords.
QUESTS
The City of Freeport
- Players who have completed “On a Boat” or “Betrayal by Boat” can now purchase upgraded rewards from Viducius Festus in East Freeport.
- Tamara Paust will now properly give an illusion totem to arasai players on the quest “Nobody Expects It”.
- It should no longer be possible to get stuck on “The Enemy in Our Midst” if you drop the quest after accepting Met Sleeth’s bribe.
Berserker Epic
- Dragon’s Temper should once again be a valid component in the “Honing the Dragon’s Temper” recipe.
YESSS! Now I can move all my Bountiful Harvest potions to my level 90 adventurer and go crazy. Those other potions will help raising my lower level crafters, too.
I’m confused about Apprentice Daily quest taking only one item now. Does that mean you can craft stacks of the stuff and have them ready before you even pick up the quest?

I was wondering the same thing. I have ungodly load times going from house to guild hall and back to house to the apprentice. Have 11 toons and 10 of them are doing the quests daily. It would save a lot of time and less out of memory errors to have things pre-made to hand to the apprentices.
Hint for reducing the amount of zoning while working with your apprentices: Put all your apprentices in one home (I’m getting tons of mileage out of a Thurgadin Grand Hall) along with an Elaborate forge, loom, and woodworking table. Add a harvesting depot stocked with raws, or carry the appropriate raws on your various characters. Enter the house, chat with your apprentice, craft the update, turn in the quest. I can run 8 apprentices in about 10-15 minutes.
Amusingly, when you have multiple apprentices in one home, they ALL show quest turn-in books over their heads when you go to turn in. Harmless bug.
Concerning the update to the apprentice quest: I suspect this means that turning in a quest for a Titanium Knife will no longer gobble up any Ferrite and Adamantine Knives you have in inventory. But don’t quote me on it.
@Karsten —
Absoultely. A couple of us are doing exactly that in the Thurgadin house. Goes quickly, yup. (Aslo, ditto the completed quest books bug…)
…Oh, and the Thurgadin fuel merch is right out the door, in case you run short.
Follow up:
Yesterday I followed a thought and made one of each of the apprentice quest items on my crafters. Today when I logged the first toon in and accepted the daily quest, it saw the item I created yesterday and was able to complete the apprentice quest right away.
It was so nice to get all 10 toons done in roughly 20 minutes rather than the 50 minutes plus it was taking. Also less zoning (all toons are in their homes) and I did not get any out of memory errors which have been occurring for me since AoD launched. (did not have this issue before AoD)
If SoE does not change anything to the lore items that a crafter creates for these quests it seems possible to have at least one in inventory and avoid…go to house…pick up quest…go to guild hall or a tradeskill area and create item…go to house and complete quest…rinse and repeat if doing this on more than one character.
