We’re now 56 minutes into what is supposed to be the “Leapers and Gliders Update” yet servers from Antonia Bayle to Everfrost to Storms to Butcherblock remain online. However because of the automated scripts announcing the downtime, nobody has been able to join a dungeon, guild hall, or any other “instance”. So players continue to hang out in open areas such as Sinking Sands, Butcherblock Mountains, and ponder the meaning of life and ineptitude.
We’re all dressed up with no place to go.
If you are running the Original Launcher (EQ2.exe), you will be able to login. You won’t be able to login with Launchpad 3 however.
So, you’re telling me that servers have come back up after the patch, but yet these new quests to get the new mounts aren’t where they’re suppose to be?
Did SOE really forget to apply their own patch. Wow. Everyone at SOE should be fired and this game should be given to a new developer.
End of story.
I’m telling you the servers are STILL up, NEVER went down, and we’re all standing around with our thumbs you-know-where with nothing to do because we can’t zone into any Dungeon, House, or Guild Hall.
And I would fire the people responsible: Network Ops
Your philosophy of “blame everyone” is why we’re on 4 wars and counting.
They didn’t take them down in the first place.
Looks like they are down now, at least The Bazaar.
The Bizarre and a bunch of Servers went down about 2 mins ago. Hopefully this is the patch

Take it you didn’t /leavegame then as you said in other comments. Pity. You should have done. End of story.
