Class-specific red adornments have been added to the EQ2Wire Adornment Calculator by Dethdlr.
That’s 221 adornments added to the existing 175 for a total of 396 T9 adornments. And I still haven’t added the ones that drop from the public quests.
Choose your class in the class dropdown to have that class’ adornments added to the proper dropdowns.
Rather than converting the class specific red adornments from their names to what they do, I’ve just included the names in the dropdowns. For one thing, this should help with those that don’t stack. For another, it means you don’t have to wait for me to find time to convert 221 adornment descriptions into text that will fit in the dropdowns. Once you click calculate, you can hover your cursor over the item names to see the tooltip popup of each adornment or click them to see them on Zam.
I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to try and convert them or just leave them as is. I’m leaning towards leaving them as is.
Also, the in-game item links will be added as time allows for the new adornments. There are 221 of them and I can only cut and paste for so long before falling asleep. 🙂 If you click through to Zam though, they should have the in game links already.
Let me know if you find any errors/bugs. I still need to indicate the items that only work on shields, but that will most likely be another day.
Let me know if you find any errors (other than the shield/secondary slot issues, I already know about that).
Update: 96 additional adornments have been added that can be purchased in Thurgadin after completing The Fallen Swords questline. This brings the total up to 492 T9 adornments. Thanks to Maikeruu for emailing me the info.
Just sent a comment to the Comment place about how a white adornment of crit chance is no longer usable on a Secondary item. It was removed today and placed in my overflow.
Omougi posted on the Everquest2 Forums:
Does that mean it will go back to what it was before today? Not sure. Gonna wait til the fix goes in to find out.
It used to be that crit chance adorns could be placed on bows, satchels and symbols, no matter which slot you put them in. The current (bugged) situation is that it can be placed on items in the ranged slot only. After the fix it can be placed in the primary, secondary and ranged slots: so on all melee weapons, shields, symbols, bows and satchels.
For the class specific red slot adornments only the ones from the vendor are listed and not the ones gained from progression on the signature quest.
Appreciate all the hardwork by Dethdlr & company on the adornment selector.
Maikeruu,
I thought there were 3 general red adornments from Thurgadin signature quest, not class specific? They could be listed though.
Can someone send me or post the info on those quested adorns? I don’t have any info on them so I can’t add them.
Dethdlr at eq2wire dot com if you want to email me.
Thanks!
They are class specific, Feldon. The tenth focus effect from Sentinel’s Fate where the first seven is from the complete set of raid armor, two from Ry’Gorr faction, and the last is from progression on the questline.
Alright. Once you complete the Fallen Swords signature quest ( http://eq2.zam.com/wiki/EQ2_Quest:The_Fallen_Swords:_Mystery_in_the_Shadows )
then Maayla A’nadir will sell you 4 adornments for your class. The 96 adornments he sells (24 classes x 4) are here:

Maikeruu sent me an awesome list of the adornments. Between that and the info that Feldon linked above, I should have what I need to get it updated. Now I just need to find the time. 🙂
Thanks!
Anybody know how much progress you have to have made in the signature quest to be able to buy the other adornments? Is it just The Fallen Swords: Mystery in the Shadows or do you have to make it further in the series?
Nevermind. I looked it up in game myself. The additional 96 adornments have been added to the selector. That brings the total up to 492 adornments. I had no idea there were this many when I started coding this thing. lol.
Have you got the Public Quests ones? 😉
Nope, the PQ ones are still on the list of things to do. Along with the distinction of adorns that don’t work on shields and all the things involved in that slot.
