Feldon A new issue has arisen affecting many players trying to login to EQ2. They are getting this error:
“This account is for an underage user. You are not old enough to access this game.”
SOE are aware of the issue and it’s being given the highest priority.
The EQ2 forums are back in operation, so you can address this there as well.
If you having a problem logging in BESIDES this issue, we’ve gotten a report that Tech Support is working today despite it being a Sunday.
UPDATE: This problem has been resolved.
UPDATE 2: Some players are showing this as resolved, others are not.
Im getting the good old Timed out Message….We got 7 days to log in and claim your im sorry reward, smart of sony to make sure over half of us still cant log in. Lame.
i bet they are working today…
Man, this is going to cost a lot of money in overtime and sunday work…

I don’t know who told them this issue was resolved because I am still having the same problem at login… not cool…
For those who (like me) may be getting “We’re sorry but your login attempt has failed: Unknown Error”, community support (Amerys) is watching and updating this thread:

Apparently an internal account server issue. I can login to the forums, but not the launcher or the game. I can see my account information from the everquest2.com site, but can’t update anything.

every time we hit C for the character persona this is what it tells us…..The MainHUD Persona window is not compatible with the current client. Please upgrade your ui mod to a compatible version or revert to the default UI (/loadui default).
we have changed it back to the default and then we can get in, but then we are missing hot bars……can you please fix it as well
The time out error I bypassed by going to soe.com and changeing my Password then the game launched correctly for me.

That issue will be fixed as soon as you upgrade your ProfitUI, FetishUI, or whatever mod you are running.
It’s good they finally put in the anti-wow option, lol just kidding 🙂
I logged into the forums today and it showed I was logged in but it won’t let me post on any threads. Is anyone else having this problem? Any idea how to fix it?
ok it’s working now… problem is I’m not sure if it was me switching from posting under @Lucand’lere to posting under @Crushbone or something else.
