back to Dragon Age 2 when I am not stuck at my desk coding. Maybe we will get something nice, double exp weekend not day, for the time server are down.
How about 1 day of double xp per day they are down. 🙂
E = estimated
T = time
A = arrival
used for objects that are travelling such as planes, trains and automobiles.
sorry, just a peeve of mine when people misuse acronyms.
Is there any other good mmo s out there. Was surfing the net and was wondering what options are there besides EQ2…
In the navy we used ETA to mean “Estimated time of Assessment”
Acronym – a pronounceable word formed from the first letters in a group of words, IE NATO.
Initialism – group of initial letters used as an abbreviation for a name or expression, each letter being pronounced separately, IE CBS, FBI, ETA.
sorry, just a peeve of mine when people misuse the word acronymn. 🙂
So what are we waiting for, an ETNS — Estimated Time of NonSuck?
Have they said anything at all, other than that single sentence on FB?
E= Estimated
T= Time
A= Accessibility or Availability
Wah Steve.
I just want to hug john for the acronym comment. It is tough sometimes not correcting people for grammatical errors (btw, I spell-checked that before I typed it in. LOL) and I am sure someone could find something to correct in my comment. One of the errors that drives me crazy, mainly because it caught on, is “Incomming!”. The amount of people that spell it that way has increased over the years in gaming. It can be contagious. It starts making think the movie “Idiocracy” was a prediction.
The important word is not ETA… it’s “no”
…
they no want give any clue of the minimal wait. If they was fair they could say : not befor… x time. I m sure they know that.
In other words, ‘The FBI doesn’t solve cases in an hour like on the teevee, your guess is as good as ours’… O.o
Back to Rift…
@SoE… Take your time, do this right. I don’t mean in the realm of “weeks” if it can be avoided, but I’d rather be back on a network that I know you spent your time on getting secure rather than slapping it together in order to get the servers back up ASAP.
Do people really think that catching the hackers is somehow part of the timetable of getting PSN and SOE services restored?
They should get Jack Bauer involved… so eq2 would be back up in 24 hours!
