  1. Hmm, I have to wonder if charmed pets will benefit from shared stats. I used to solo with my druid having a charmed animal, though I don’t any more. Have to wonder if the druid charms got the shared stats or not.

  2. I didnt see the effect of shared stats on charmed pets, i could be wrong.

I will say the change on Dunfire pets away from shared stats was a huge bad move. all because it was ” not intended,” they actually did some damage before an aoe wiped em.

  3. I wanted to wait until release before giving my 2 cents about shared stats, but it appears nothing has changed since beta anyway.

    1. Removing the pet stats once again ‘streamlines’ (read: trivializes) the game and takes a lot of class specific flavor from the conji.

    2. Some of the item conversions are questionable at best (Ley Line Sunrod anyone?). Some more or less decent items have been turned into trashy ones with the conversion.

    3. Shared stats are, as was to be expected, insane and widely unbalanced. Teared through the (now bugged) entrance of Ahkzul in under 3 minutes and just watched my pet having fun for most of the time.

    4. AA has not been adjusted for shared stats, as was to be expected. For instance, pretty much every conji will want to go for Unabate for lower resist rates. In order to do so, you have to go through a line that primarily reduces your cast timers on your main attacks – by 100%, capping you on FCR. Thus, gear with high cast rate was never that desirable for us if other bonuses could be obtained. Now, with shared stats, cast rate has become rather important and thanks to the new gear, is relatively easy to max. The Unabate line is a lot less valuable for an end game conji (is there anything but end game nowadays?) now, I’d even dare say you’re forced to waste AA here.

On an unrelated side note, what genius came up with the scout pet buff? Health and power reg? I can’t help but think this is SOE’s way of saying ‘we have no idea how to fix the scout pet, so have a buff as compensation’.
