‘ is, now we know. From the EQ2 Forums:
The item has the same buff as “The Spear of Sentries”, the deity prelude award for Marr. It is house placeable only (not guildhall), but has no recharge time, and can be used by anybody who visits the house.
For those that are still wondering, and don’t want to have to go googling what the buff from “The Spear of Sentries” is, like I did:
Increases Max Health of target by 294
hmm, well I have 3 spears so glad I did not get the collectors edition. LOL.
Also glad I did not spring for the CE.
I’m very disappointed at this news. What a lame buff for a CE item. Why not something more fun? Run speed, xp boost, AA boost, temp illusion.. I don’t know. How about something imaginative??
Guild XP potion would have been nice. 🙂 or a three charge adorning tome of knowledge that dings you 50 skillups upon reading it.
Any comments from SOE yet on allowing fan fair participants to “upgrade” to the CE without having to shell out so me?

Nope, and I’m not paying $60 for Miragul’s as a house, a house item, and a slightly different appearance for my flying mount.
Sigh, that’s what I was afraid of. I don’t think I am either, a shame too, that they aren’t offering it as an option.
I wonder if those of us that get the fan fair version get the other items?
