  1. Does having a Station access account count? I had a 12 month eq2 subscription but wanted more slots (2 weeks before the slot addition announcement 🙁 ) so converted to station access and got credited 6 months – am subscribed till about febuary on Station access and you can’t downgrade until it expires. (at the time I thought it was a smart idea with DCU coming soon but that backfired with its delay)

  2. wow i have been using game cards for years now. mostly because soe overcharged my card several times .
that’s total bs its a way to force a player to buy 3 months at a time. a dirty underhanded trick.
well regardless i already kinda know the rewards are super lame.
if the finial reward is a half elf wearing vampire ears and fangs.. it looks like they spent 4 min creating. and if that’s any preview of how vellious will be. no reason to come back

  3. Amnerys just posted this:

Hey everyone! Checking in to clear up a few questions about today’s rewards.

    1. Everyone who is actively subscribed and in good standing will be getting the rewards, including folks who pay with game cards.

    2. We just started running the process that grants the items an hour or two ago, and it takes a few hours to run, so before long you should start seeing the bag in your /claim, but don’t worry if you don’t see it yet. It’s a completely different process than what hotfixes do, so it wasn’t going to be visible right after the hotfix.

    3. Game card subscribers will be getting their rewards in a second round of item grants, so don’t worry if you’re a game card payer and you don’t see yours when other players say they’ve gotten theirs. The team who grants the rewards is running them in two batches, and a few account types are getting items in the first round, and a few get them in the second round. By the end of the day, everyone who qualified should have gotten the items.

    Am I missing anything?

I wonder if they changed their mind when they saw the response or if this was the plan all along. Just like the question of how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop, the world may never know. 🙂
