A new Achievement has been added for Raiders who are able to clear the original Shadow Odyssey raid mobs without dying (earning a Flawless Victory at least once on each mob). These are some pretty amazing awards, commensurate with the effort required to get them.

This is a good sign I have to say. Now at least achievements are starting to mean something giving people a want to do them. Obviously if a guild is capable of killing every raid name in TSO without dying they should be rewarded with something of high value. Perhaps they will add in rewards for the single group instances. For instance, if you complete the SoU achievements for a set of zones (say EF) you’ll be rewarded a piece of a set (of decent value) that you could get the other pieces from the other zones. Doubt that will happen any time soon, but would be nice to see none the less and would give a goal for people to go for and give them a new reason to play the game instead of praying to the RNG for a piece of loot.
Wow, those are really nice charms, all right.
And they said the Achievements rewards will have no-stat. SOE changed there mind.

“Achievements
The new achievement system gives players a fun new way to track their accomplishments! Most achievements will award players with achievement points that can be used to compare their progress against other players. Some harder to complete achievements will offer non-stat item rewards. The basic categories are General, Quest, Exploration, Combat, Slayer, Tradeskills and Triumphs. Triumphs are large scale achievements that combine multiple achievements into one large one. An example of this would be to do all of the combat, quest, and exploration achievements in a specific area.”
I Think Amaav’s idea is better than what I see the developers put in. I think it’s great to reward players who pull off something amazing, but I think this reward is only going to imbalance things even more. Only an avatar geared guild going to be able to get a flawless victory for Munzok and Anashti Sul… Well If they’re killing Avataters they prolly already have amazing quality fabled charms, unlike every other raid guild on the server who prolly has no fabled charms and this would help out big time, but they’ll never get.
I have no problem with this Achievement reward.
It is essentially a quest to kill all 19 original TSO raid mobs without dying. At the end, you get a reward commensurate with the effort and coordination required.
As long as group achievements get no better than group rewards, and solo achievements get no better than solo rewards, it’s fine.
As someone who has the charm I just want to say it only includes the 4 original TSO zones, so you don’t need a flawless on Munzok or Miragul.
As far as it further imbalancing things, avatar gear really isn’t overly impressive anymore. I have 6 pieces of avatar gear: 4 of those sit in my bank full time; 1 I occasionally switch to when I get put into a non standard group setup; and 1 I use full time but could switch to an instance drop and probably notice only a trivial loss of dps.
As far as the quality of charms, the charm out of mmb and mps are easily on par if not exceed avatar charms for a majority of classes.
@Amaav: That’s a bad idea because Sense of Urgency can be gotten from grey instances.
@Jonaroth: Anashti Sul can be killed flawlessly without avatar gear. And if you are a non-avatar raiding guild and dont have fabled charms, you’re not trying hard enough. There are also fabled charms from heroic zones.
