  1. Everfrost/Guk/Unrest – worst selection ever….. I agree Bonemire should have been there as well as Nest of the great Egg

my predictions – Maj’Dul for Crushbone and rest, Skyfire for Freeport and rest. Halls of Fate for Everfrost and res

  2. I agree I do not like any of the names we can select for the combine of our servers (Everfrost/Guk/Unrest) and think some one word options would be better.

The Freeport and other 2 servers do have the best names to choose from.

  3. Yep also agree that it’s a really poor choice of names for Everfrost / Unrest / Guk. Too wordy for a server name and going to make cross-server tells a royal pain in the neck. Plus calling a server ‘Palace of the…’ or ‘Halls Of…’ or ‘Vaults of…’ just seems kinda weird to me, almost claustrophobic.

Shorter one word names would have been far better imho. Scaleborn, Awakened, Fate, El’Arad, Bonemire, Vyemm, Blacktalon, Whisperwind, there were so many great suggestions in the forums and they all seem to have been overlooked for these needlessly wordy titles.

Don’t think I’d be best pleased if I played on Butcherblock / Crushbone / Oasis either.

All that said it is just a name at the end of the day, but have to say I’m a wee bit disappointed.

  4. I don’t like the DoF ones at all. Even the ones that didn’t end up on the list are awful. RoK are the only ones that ended up with decent name choices.

I do agree with Anaogi, though. I wish we could have Mistmoore back.

    1. Oh I dunno. Maj’Dul seems perfect. 3 factions, one bustling city compared to 3 servers merged into one server that’s supposed to become bustling… seems pretty fitting. (And the future Drunder residents would be the hidden 4th faction. 😛 )

      1. I absolutely hated Maj’Dul, so imho it’s a horrible choice. I have no good memories of that city at all. It’s beyond me why people seem to think it’s a great name for a server. Plus there’s the programming around an apostrophe in the server name. I really hope they don’t goof it up.

  5. Just a style suggestion: lots of times the word “denizen” is used almost pejoratively in this day and age. It has evolved to be a term that people often use when they’re referring to a group of people who they either dislike or think poorly of.

    IE: Denizens of Baltimore City.

    Just my two cents Broseidon!

    1. Interesting. I googled it and didn’t find any negative connotations but it certainly has a different meaning than that of citizen. It seems to mean a subset of people or a people without the legal trappings of citizenship. It can mean a wild people as well, operating without government.

      Thanks for your comment!
