This week’s Rum Cellar preview livecast on Twitch with EQ/EQ2 Executive Producer Holly “Windstalker” Longdale, EQ2 designer Chris “Chrol” Garlick, and EQ2 Community Manager Roshen has now been posted on YouTube. Note that it cuts off at the 59 minute mark as they ran up against the 1 hour scheduled timeslot and never came back from it. We are hoping to get a brief summary of the key points from the webcast here on EQ2Wire sometime today.
They did come back briefly; Holly asked Roshen how many views they got and then it was over again.
I continue to be amazed as to how they tend to mishandle live-streamed events. I like that they want to live-stream things for us to see, but in quite a few years, they don’t seem to be learning anything about how to do it “well”.
You make a video and post the link here so we can all see how it’s done, eh? ^_^ I’m genuinely curious. (I actually enjoyed this EQ2 stream though. )
I’m not saying I’m an expert at making videos. But if I was a company, and part of what I did was live-stream sessions and post videos online, I wouldn’t *routinely* run into problems doing it. I’m trying to recall a live-stream they did that DIDN’T have issues.
I just want to say I really do appreciate that they made the distillery the way they did. Details like that add to the believability of the world, even for butt-munches who call it irrelevant.
