From the EQ2 Forums:
All gamers know it’s not a holiday until you see your favorite MMO decked out for the season! This year, Sony Online Entertainment invites you to get in the spirit by creating holiday-themed items for your favorite games.
Since the unveiling of the Player Studio program, your fellow players have shown off their creativity and talent by creating in-game items for EverQuest, EverQuest II, PlanetSide 2, and Free Realms. In addition to epic bragging rights, creators get a split of the profits for sales of their item, which is pretty much the definition of “win/win.”
For more information on the program and game-specific submission guidelines, check out the Player Studio homepage. If you’re interested in making some holiday magic (and money!), send in your themed items by November 30, 2013.
I wanted to first say that the Players Studio is a wonderful program! I’m not a creator,(though I wish I was), but I have bought a number of Player studio items for use in my houses and now my guild hall. I was looking forward excitedly to the new items that would be offered for the Frostfell Holiday. I was especially hoping to see that someone make a new Frostfell Tree, with decorations and possibly lights too. Unfortunately no one made a tree. I know that Frostell Trees are available from NPCs in game. These trees are nice, but I would so very much love to see a tree with decorations on it. Would someome please make a Frostfell tree with decorations and perhaps lights too on it? Thank you very much and Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!!
For Frostfell 2014, would someone please make Decorated Frosfell Tree? Everyone who made Frosfell items and decorations this year did a wonderful job! Added some really nice, new decorations by purchasing from the Players Studio artists. So someone please make us a decorated tree for next year. I’m in no way bashing the original Frosfell trees, but the lights programmed into them will not stay on and to me, a holiday tree is not a holiday tree unless it has decorations on it. Hope everyone has a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous 2014!
