  1. That’s all well and good until you realise that buying Reforging, Mercs, Beastlords and the increased AA limit via SC amounts to the same amount of cash as buying the AoD “expansion” in the first place.

Although I guess you can take advantage of the SC deals in this scenario.

    1. Honestly, this was the actual question that was asked. The person was basically asking for ToV to include EVERYTHING again, but the answer was just that AoD would get broken up (and they didn’t say what they are doing with CoE, which brings me concerns about CoE not being included).

  2. If they’re letting anyone insta-level to 85 whats the point of the bauble? Not much point in being 85 if you don’t have the AA’s.

Plus it’s quite easy to get AA’s in SS once you hit 90 anyway.

  3. Wasn’t DoV made F2P when CoE came out? They don’t sell it on their main website anymore. It would make more sense to make CoE F2P and keep those players one xpac behind. That way, they still make money off of the max level characters paying for ToV and please the Free members who are willing to wait.

    1. If I undstand this correctly it makes me feel kind of stupid for buying the expansions in the first place and for subbing. Should just wait and get it handed to me.

Your $40 was to play the expansion for 1 year.

From 2006-2011, when you bought EQ2’s new expansion, you got all past expansions. This whole “you have to buy more than 1 expansion to get everything” is something EQ2 hasn’t had since 2005.
