As of 3:00pm PST, EQ2 U.S. Servers are back up 9 hours ahead of schedule. We expect EU servers to be up shortly thereafter. Forums and other services are still down for the time being.

I logged in as soon as I saw this posting and, after flipping to alt #2, I got booted. Can’t get back in – I tried bypassing the launcher also, still can’t get in. My money says somebody goofed and/or they’re still monkeying around with things – I’m still not able to access the boards, btw (fyi).

@Singing it wasn’t an update to eq2.
It would be too much to expect SOE to patch the games at the same time as they took down the login servers and websites for their maintenance 🙂 Since patching the game at the same time would be way to efficient…

I am trying to login but when I start everquest 2, the icon that used to startup is gone and now it always times out and I cannot log in. It looks like a new launcher type as well. Sigh =/
