  1. Feldon. You might wanna change the header. The header says Jan 3rd at 9am PST, but the text says Jan. 4th at 9. The text is right, but anyone just glancing (or browsing on some mobile phones that only see the header until you click the link) will get the wrong info.

  2. What’s the opposite of gold? Turns everything to lead? Pyrite (Fool’s Gold). ‘Cause they ain’t fooin’ anyone.

Midas’s Death Touch? Though turning you into gold IS a Death Touch (thus, the point of the story: careful what you wish for).

  3. It was actually a typo that caused all this … the number of days were right, but the date was wrong.

However, they are right on top of making sure no one uses the term “freeps” in a deragatory way.

They must have a weekly meeting to decide what they will or will not apologise for, at this point.

  4. Kwill beat me too it.

Perhaps instead of making an arse of themselves the Community reps could maybe sort how to use a keyboard correctly instead of going after the bad boyz who use the world “freep”

  5. It was not a typo. SJ posted it was to the 2nd. Then Isulith posted it was to the 3rd and confirmed in the same thread that it was a bonus and really till the 3rd. More or less, Isulith messed up and even confirmed that his messup was correct.

  6. While it was nice that SOE took the responsibility to fix the EXP times, what they have not done is fix the consistent Freeport Server issues, thus we who actively tried to use the EXP double to our advantage were cut short by the 10 plus server crashes during the DBL EXP weekend.
How about the Devs start to fix the much needed hardware issues and give us what we pay for, cause honestly a new Freeport & Quenos means crap to me, what we want is reliability.

  7. One has to ask why all the mistakes and do-overs that have occurred in the past month? It is not a well-oiled machine over there at the moment. As for “a fan site sponsored witch hunt,” I don’t believe any fan site wants to get rid of anyone; that seems a little out there. EQ2Wire is a site that investigates the issues, speaks out, and reports factually on what is really going on, good and bad. We need this kind of journalism.
