As a matter of course, we have left the marketing of StationCash Marketplace items to the forums, EverQuest2.com, and the Welcome window when logging into EQ2. However this week’s haul includes a set of in-game paintings, something players have been requesting for quite some time.
We got a giggle out of the title of this painting ‘Seeking the Burned Woods’. If you don’t know the backstory on that, read the story. Maybe the next bunch of paintings will include Fansy the Bard.
These 5 paintings are $2.50 each (.83 cents each if you got triple SC).
This site has the follow-up of the Burned Woods from the cleric who ended up rezzing the guy: http://www.mmorpg-info.org/fun/burned-woods/
Love paintings, going to have to login and see what they have. 🙂 Maybe I’ll finally have an excuse to use the SC I’ve stockpiled from double/triple events!
Anyone know whatever happened to Fansy? Does he still game?
He was a riot 🙂

Wow, the burned woods story brought back a lot of memories of things long past!
SOW … does anyone know what that means anymore (it’s spirit of the wolf, if you didn’t know, cast by shamans in the orginal EQ … I can’t even remember if druids also got it)? Being able to bind anywhere … corpse recoveries … consent to rez … dragging corpses … I was playing EQ when the BW joke was fresh. It was actually a fairly tough zone. Felwith Castle, that brings back memories, too. And of course, falling off the tree city to your death. EQ was a great game in the early 2000s, that’s for sure.
