Feldon It seems like StationCash bonuses have been coming more and more often. One might think that there’s no need to get in on this campaign if another one is just around the corner. SmokeJumper has some news:
I think this is the last one for a while also. I think there’s a minor one coming on the heels of this one, but then we won’t be doing another one for several months, probably. (We reserve the right to change our minds, but that’s the plan currently.)
Unfortunately, the maximum StationCash that can be held on an account is 20k, or $100 with the discount. That sounds like a lot, until you add up services like Character Slots, Racial Changes, etc.

The part about 20k is not accurate. I have more than that currently because I bought on the first double weekend and haven’t spent it yet.
Yep, I have more too. At one time I had over 30k SC. Right now I am around 23k…most of it was from the 1st half off weekend way back when. Only spent on a race change potion that did change the race but the character can’t alter her appearance…she remains bald, with default facial features even after buying haircut. Had a GM look into it too with nothing able to be done.
Bought some character slots last month. Have wanted to buy a race change/name change for another character but afraid how that will turn out.
But overall, the point is I’m over 20k SC.
I read that as “Double StationCash Weekend Might Last for Months”

He was told by tech support:
1> SC is limited to 20,000 for each player.
2> SC can be purchased in increments of 15,000 per day, not to exceed the max.
From the StationCash FAQ ( http://www.soe.com/stationcash/faq.vm ):
Q: Are there limits as to how much Station Cash™ I can purchase, and how much Station Cash™ I can have in my wallet?
A: Yes. You’ll be notified by our system if you exceed our preset limits.
Again, 20,000 SC sounds like a lot until you start to add up things like character slots, name changes, and all the “micro” transactions such as $25 mounts and $35 furniture sets. StationCash ain’t cheap. It sounds like there is some undocumented conditional situation like if you try to buy StationCash all at once then your account is flagged. If you bought some months ago, then it doesn’t count towards the limit when buying more? Who knows. They have all kinds of voodoo code to prevent exploits and to detect fraudulent or stolen accounts.
30,000 is the hard cap.
