More Guild hall News
Vendor to buy “trash”
Npc to buy status items.
Bard, Crusader, Cleric specific armor. Less archetype specific. No more templars running around with chain or leather.
Avatar loot for Rodcet Nife is all new and loot tables for the existing 12 avatars will eventually be updated. basically, if you like a loot item on avatars now, don’t miss any opportunity since it might change.
Combat xp in 70-80 will be improved. The pendulum “swung too far in favor of soloing and hurt groupers”.
Dungeons are smarter. Puzzles in dungeons ala some of the raids and VoeS.
Lvl 50, 60, or 70 groups going into the new scaleable dungeons will get scaled down loot. All loot designed for 80. All the new dungeons (20) are in the old/familiar places one would expect.
New travel being added — airships. Live event to build airship and build docks.
Big news! PvP will now allows all classes in all cities. Existing unhappy classes can complete betrayal to whatever class they want. This will reduce the requirement of Exile PvP guilds.
“PvP now allows all classes in all cities.”
It’s official, awesome.
What about pvp gear to exiles?
If all cities get all classes, exiles should get pvp gear, leaving the ONLY reason to be in exile: MORE pvp.
Does this mean just pvp servers can have all class’s in all citys or also the pve ones?
will you lose your masters if you do not change class, if moving from exile to a faction?
They need to include wardrobes/bureaus likened to the AA respecification mirrors, but different in that they store the spells/combat arts previously acquired as your opposite class. IMO, adding something like that to the variety and optioning a player is open to can only add to longevity and dynamism in encounters.
BTW, betcha it’s a guaranteed spell scroll loss like it always (?) has been, when returning to a faction from Exiled.
Nonetheless, the trade-off for being Exiled SHOULD BE more PvP, absent of faction benefits through housing, alignment-specific gear, & associated status/guild merchant rewards. Point being, you go Exiled knowing your crew is that competent, to the point that sacrificing those minor perks is nothing compared to being the recipients of radically more open odds and encounters in PvP.
Given that many Exileds already have the veterancy of enduring an environment where potential was far wider than elsewhere (in factions), I think the precedent has more than been set, to segregate Exileds as those who are steadfast enough to handle the burdens absent of in-city benefits yet still succeed in PvP on a sustained basis.
PvP gear for exiles doesnt make sense. There has to be something you sacrifice. Guild halls are no big deal on a PvP server, at least to the hardcore PvPers
