how does all the other servers stay up at the same time?
If it’s a switch problem, it’s easy to see how an entire group of servers (on a specific VLAN) could be unreachable.
They are, however, showing as LOCKED, which may be something DB did until they fix the switch problem.
Feldon you did a great job with the swift alert. I had been playing on Crushbone… doing writs in Kunark and Moors… trying to make the noon deadline for double sp. Ran out of writs and came home to recharge and switch to an alt camped near an elite merc… boom!!! All of my chars were LOCKED.. So first thing I turn to for information is dependable EQ2U. Granted… seldom do downed servers get such an explanation… but this one was well reported and explained. I’m happy to wait out the problem til it’s solved. Interesting though… I was not aware of the problem until I logged out of the char I had been playing..
Correction… good old dependable eq2wire .lol… EQ2U being affected by a census interface has its moments.
Crushbone is down yet again, after being down most of the day. This is very annoying!
