POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION
Altar of Malice
- Experience for defeating NPCs in Altar of Malice Solo and Advanced Solo zones has been increased.
ITEMS
- Expendable items can no longer be transmuted.
- Refining common harvests can no longer return high quality slag.
so much for tradeskill xp.
I want it spelled out please. “Expendable items can no longer be transmuted.” Then Bunji slams the door in our face and allows no room for comment (probably understandable) or question (Huh?) What did he mean? I haven’t a clue what went down to make this ban necessary. What is an expendable item? Not criticizing, just clueless.
That one caught my eye too. It sounds like certain items that shouldn’t have been transmuteable were for some reason and I’m guessing it was being exploited. But it is just complete guesswork though.
Mastercrafted potions are an example of an expendable item (e.g. savants elixir of dexterity). I’m guessing stuff like that you can make a stack at a time was mutable.
It looks like the update broke salvaging.. lvl 96-99 gear is giving old rares rather then new ones now.
