  1. What about the reported Trade skill EXP equipment not granting extra EXP? (Is it a problem that Rush Writs for 96-100 grant only 3% exp each, very slow grind? Adventurers advancing rapidly to 100, Tradeskillers, much less so.)

      1. Guild Gathers never had the split menu, that change was not applies to them. Although it might be nice for it to be consistent. Personally I would prefer the menu for all of them to show the top three tiers and an option for lower tiers, which then breaks down to the rest.

  2. Temple of Doom is messed up good. I don’t even get the new hotbar with abilities, and none of the other work arounds have worked for me. I only going to say this once, if SOE were smart the would put in the right amount of xp, as it sits. I got to 98 doing all the quest that I could that were not bugged, still cant get paste temple of doom. Then I had to run DM vox to get to 100. It boggles the mind that they don’t give you enough xp to get to 100 doing the quest lines then nerf the devil out of other zones you could have run to make up the difference. Don’t even get me started on tradeskill and the crazy amount of xp needed to level there. All in all there is some fun quest but leveling is a problem, and to be quite honest not fun. SOE do you hear the “NOT FUN” part of what I said. The game is supposed to be fun not a job. Sorry but that is my rant.

  3. The only thing that really affects me right now is that they removed the mount reward from the Tradeskill achievement for completing all the new quests. They didn’t even mention it or acknowledge it on the forums. If it was just a leftover from the Beta they forgot to remove, I could understand it, but you’d think they’d at least put it in the patch notes!

    1. What? The achievement mount reward was only for beta.

I have not completed the tradeskill quests on live yet -so not sure what they are showing -but you shouldn’t get a mount on live for finishing the quests.

    1. Chrol posted this on the forums today:

The Shissar will be much more manageable for all classes, hopefully with the next hotfix.

Note the “for all classes” part. I suspect that what you figured out + what class you were playing had a part in it not being that hard.

      1. Tried it again tonight. Mob to the right side was doing 100k damage to me every second. Heals just didn’t keep up. I swapped in the new higher mit quest gear and ran figure 8s around the zone kiting the mob and finally got it down. Quest complete. Royal PITA. 🙂

  4. My first crafter did the crafting questline and finished at level 96.8. Then I did the grind to 100. Another crafter, with 20% vet bonus showing on the xp bar, did the grind and finished at the same 96.8

    1. The +20% veteran bonus applies to XP gained from crafting items, not from quest completion. The XP gained from the crafting quest line is almost completely contained in quest credits, not in item builds, so this is perfectly normal.

The entire crafting quest line has you craft about 28 items altogether. Quick-and-dirty math gives me a figure of +840 XP from the 20% bonus, out of about 250k crafting XP per level, or roughly 0.3%. (150 XP per build +20% = 30 XP, times 28 builds = 840 XP total. Actually less because you’ll lose a bit from making lv95 builds at lv96 by the end of the quest.)

The veteran bonus will help a bit as you level your other crafters 96.8 to 100.
