I had just got to where I did not use that teleporter, they should just put a stupid elevator instead. It is way easier just to fly to the other side and not bother with it.

An elevator? With SOE’s track record on their efficacy of elevators (people double, triple, quintuple clicking an elevator so it goes up and down without reaching the end, people falling through, folks not being lifted when standing on it, etc.) I’d rather they just put a hole in the floor and let us fly through . . .

Daily missions from Onerind Fe’Dhar in Vesspyr Isles have had their requirements for completion changed.

    Anybody know what they changed?

They removed the requirement to kill the trash mobs. Now you just have to kill the named at the end.

I find this confusing. They make the tradeskill weekly more time-consuming, when that quest requires actually doing something special. Yet the adventure daily is made easier. Now, the adventure daily is a freebie. It’s completed automatically by running the zone, and the drops in the zone are balanced to be a sufficient reward for clearing the zone on their own so the mission rewards are essentially a free bonus for doing something you’re already being paid to do. And even that’s considered too difficult, they have to take out requirements?

Really glad to hear they made this change.

If you needed to swap out characters for the tougher fights at the end, whoever swapped got hosed and couldn’t complete the mission. I was hoping that’s what the change was when I read the patch notes.

Yup – this is a good change. And I don’t see how it makes it easier – you have to kill most of the trash anyway to get to the final mob. It’s always been getting a bonus reward for doing the zone anyway.

It just allows you to swap out a player – say if you need an extra healer for the final boss.

And they broke High Keep – when you kill the singer you get double credit for him and the jailer.

Looks like that’s not completely true for all the zones. We did High Keep last night and the mission required killing Hammy and the General at the end. Still a vast improvement over the old system IMO.
