I’m actually looking forward to farming the crap out of Drunder and EoW. I need rare named necks for my alts.

So is this all single group instances in game? Or specific to DoV?

    Only affects DoV group instances

I wonder if skyshrine will still be 18 hour lockouts.

@daalilama that’s why I was asking is because it very ambiguous. I can’t test it until I get home from work.

Skyshrine will probably be 18. I believe they are doing this so the non raiders can be geared for Skyshrine and the loot from these dungeons will almost be worthless compared to what you can get in GU63

Unless they decided to change it from official announcements they have previously stated the 18 hour lock outs should only be for DoV but I reread the update notes and its only stating genericly “all group zone timers” so who knows…cant check it myself due to nagafen still being locked.

Skyshrine is currently using 90 minute timers on test.

Looks like it really is applied to all one-group zones regardless of expansion, at least based on a cursory glance. I’m looking at the Persistent Instances list now, and all these things that used to say 18 hours now say 1 hour 30 minutes.
So yes, not just DoV zones.
    Really, really cool surprise, imho.

It’s all heroic zones (even the old ones with lockouts instead of persistance), except Court of Korukust (3 hours), Najena’s Hollow Tower (18 hours) and Obelisk of Anhkzul (18 hours).

    :boggle:

I detect a lot of Obelisk of Azhkul runs underway.

    Just sayin’.

Looks like they screwed up the maximum duration timers for some zones when they did this. I’m seeing maximum duration of 1 day 11 hours for some heroic zones now.

Obelisk of Azhul is still reading 18 hours.

Obelisk of Azhul is still reading 18 hours.

Not surprisingly they kept the Obelisk of Plat at 18 hrs. 😉

I’m not that surprised for OoA :p
But remember many other zone gives a very quick 7 plat chest run (Cavern of the Afflicted anyone ? )

OoA might be out, but Nuroga still got the reduced timer. Go go brawler farming. 14 plat and lots of easy places to stop for shinies with about 5 minutes worth of work.
