According to the in-game EQ2 calendar, the Chronoportal Events will be returning March 20th at 8:00am PDT and will run until March 29th 8:59am PDT. The Chronoportal events are a series of instances that are meant as a peek into Norrath’s past, taking players to familiar areas of Norrath 500 years ago. In other words, a celebration of the launch of the original EverQuest.
For now, we’re calling this unconfirmed as this would mean the Chronoportal event would start the day Brewday festivities end, and would partly overlap with the Bristlebane event.
Tip of the hat to Jeehi.
Considering the achievement is still visible to those players who didn’t finish it the first year it was offered, I have the feeling that this is the real deal. I’m actually looking forward to it – this year I have a couple teams and a couple characters to put on those teams to farm up belts/weapons/etc.
Yep, pretty sure this is for real, especially since the date is different than it was last year (3/24-3/30)
I wonder if they will be available on the ProSieben servers…
The ProSieben server aren’t going to be all that much different from the regualar servers, SOE is still going to be developing them.
@Kryvak, if anyone in the community actually believed that given the evidence of alaplaya’s MO…well, we’d still have this stink. However, I’m afraid that the track record is causing folks not to have any faith that would be so.
Personally I have no idea, but at this point it’s the least of the sins involved with this round robin Charlie Foxtrot.
Linda came over once before to post here about Fan Faire, due to my rudeness, so perhaps she could come back and let us know about this event?
Bring on the Solo farming. Wonder if they will have a second level 90 dungeon to get all your characters locked on each day of the event.
Hopefully they make them a little more challenging than last time.
