Feldon As we reported last week, we’re coming up on a Double XP weekend. Now the official announcement from EverQuest2.com:
This coming weekend, from 12:01 AM PDT on Friday, September 2 and ending at 11:59 PM PDT on Sunday, September 5, EverQuest II will be running a Double XP promotion (+100% XP). Take advantage of these three days and watch those XP bars fill up!
The bonus applies to AA, tradeskill, and adventure experience gained this weekend. Our French, German, Japanese, Test, and EQ2 Extended servers will also be enjoying the increase in XP gain.
The localised times for this Double XP weekend are:
- PDT: September 2 12:01am ~ September 5 11:59pm
- EDT: September 2 3:01am ~ September 6 2:59am
- BST: September 2 8:01am ~ September 6 7:59am
- CET: September 2 9:01am ~ September 6 8:59am
double exp ends on Sunday Sept 4
double cash ends on Monday Sept 5
Again ? Come’on they want everyone to reach 90 or what ?
Think I’ll hit up some past-tier dungeons and rack up some AA’s.
I just recently moved to AB. I can use all the double XP I can get. =)
Most likely they do. It’s easier to develop content for 1 Tier if everybody’s 90.
MOST people like the double XP, and SOE gets a revenue bump from pot purchases.
they should just make the entire game double xp. basically is nowadays :-\

now it reads that x2 exp goes to monday night
(originally it listed sunday night for ending)
every 1 i think they should just do a triple xp then stop the whole thing like am 8 th prestiege level 47 like am not the best prestiege but i went on mw2 till like may and then went on black ops and there’s been about 5 double xp’s and its terrible like all of my friends are 13 th 14 th and 15 th and there’s about 10 of my friends who are under 10th so i think there should be a triple xp then there’s no more double xp’s and thats all iv got to say
