Test Update Notes Point to PQ Fixes, ToFS x2 Resolution

Good news if you play on Test or Test Copy! Several crucial fixes to Public Quests and the Tower of Frozen Shadow x2 raid, as well as the wayward Research button in the Knowledge window  made their way to the Test Servers yesterday.

Normally, we only glance at Test Update Notes to check for new features. No doubt many players on Live will be wishing that this is how the Live Update Notes for yesterday looked. It would have been great to go into the weekend with a lot of these issues tackled.

Here are the Test Update Notes for yesterday, Thursday April 7th. It’s unclear when these will go live, but possibly next Tuesday.

USER INTERFACE

• Fixed an alignment issue with the research tab button in the knowledge window.

POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION

Kraytoc’s Fortress

• Fixed an issue causing the Eirreen encounter to continually reset.

Tower of Frozen Shadow: Haunt of Syl’Tor

• Necretia Widowmaker should no longer be able to be respawned once she has been defeated.

• Encounters designed to spawn adds when a specific creature dies should no longer spawn multiple copies of adds.

Tower of Frozen Shadow (x2 Raid)

• Necretia Widowmaker should no longer be able to be respawned once she has been defeated.  She has returned to Tower of Frozen Shadow (in newly created instances).

Throne of Storms (Heroic)

• All bosses must be cleared in order for Tribunus-Prime Hagandr to spawn. You should now receive a zone message when this occurs.

Temple of Ralloz Zek: Foundation of Stone

• Temple doors after Prime-Curator Undr should open properly if after you defeat him even if you leave the zone and come back in later.

Throne of Storms: Hall of Legends (Challenge)

• The kromzek stormtroopers associated with Imperator Kolskeggr will not randomly switch to the Imperators target on their own (they can still be taunted or gain agro in other ways, but will not randomly switch for no apparent reason).

QUESTS

Public Quests

• Storm Gorge: Goredeth Maulhammer AE attacks have been reduced in range to a more appropriate range to prevent killing players at the revive locations.

• Storm Gorge: Goredeth Maulhammer should no longer heal when he kills players.

Eastern Wastes

• Piep now offers her quest “Off to the Wakening Lands” after the player has completed both “Animal Magnetism” and “Fishing for Danger”.

• Piep now has specific error messages for players that have not completed either “Animal Magnetism” or “Fishing for Danger”.

• The daily quests started by Blor Greatbasher in Ry’Gorr Keep should now be more reliably offered.

Forgotten Pools

• The Coldian Relics required for the mission Relics of the Lost should no longer spawn in invalid locations.

ITEMS

• Cruor-Forged Bands will now properly unpack.

• Increased block chance on challenge and easy mode fighter earring item sets to 10 and 5 percent respectively.
