Double Station Cash Weekend – December 17-19, 2010
There’s a double station cash weekend happening from 17-19 December 2010. Looks like finally, for the first time, those outside the US will also be able to take advantage of this:

For the first time ever and for a limited time only, Double Station Cash will be available across all top up amounts and for most payment methods*. Stock up now for double the fun!
Offer valid 12/17/10 through 12/19/10. Eligible purchases include those made with credit/debit card, PayPal or pre-paid game cards. Exact start time of promotion on 12/17/10 to be announced. Look for more details later this week.
*excludes SMS purchases

Actually us Euros were able to take advantage of the last StationCash bonus weekend. 🙂 But this is cool nonetheless.

I think the “first time only” part refers to it’s not just prepaid cards or just bought through the website/game like the last two were.

Does that mean, you get double sc if you buy some, or does it mean that the things on marketplace only cost half of the normal price?
If its getting twice as much SC , wouldn’t it be clever to buy 4200-5000 in advance for the next expansion, as Sentinels Fate can be purchased of the marketplace for around 4200 sc?
So you’d be getting the expansion for around 17 Euros instead of 35?

You get twice as much StationCash as you normally would. So when the expansion is available for purchase for StationCash, you can get it for half price. I imagine SOE will not put the expansion on SC for a few months after it is launched.

Thanks for clarifiying 🙂 I’m just guessing, but it might just happen that SoE fails again at offering the expansion as a box, SF was afaik never in stores here where i live,not even on amazon… Haven’t bought it because of that (and i didnt need to as i rather play multiple chars ,none of them is high enough yet), and i will now simply wait for the next.
I still hope that this isn’t the xpweekend smokejumper was talking about.
