  1. I still say that this:

“This is such a huge difference in hardware capacity that we think we can turn the EQII servers into mega-servers with twice as many players or more than what you have now on AB or Nagafen. To do this, we would need to merge some of the servers together which changes our hardware requirements. ”

Will = AB becoming the legacy PvE server, and Naggy becoming the legacy PvP server eventually through multiple server merges. The rest of eq2 servers will be EQ2X, and the legacy will be regarded much like the LG servers are now. Just my 2c

  2. I hate to say this … but … As a business SoE has a bottom line. They might “like” to do nice things for the players, but they “HAVE” to do things that not only make money but make a profit margin. We can all whine and moan about what we “saw coming” … of course we saw it coming … this is business … and business is mostly predictable. Stop throwing insults at SoE … they are predictable … they are a business. As long as we play the game and pay our subscriptions, then we are little more than a breakfast cereal purchaser to them.

Remember … “You are in THEIR world now”
