Feldon Repeating last night’s Login and Launcher difficulties, players are reporting that they are getting stuck at the black SOE splash screen when trying to run the EQ2 launcher. No word on SOE’s Facebook page yet.

I tried bypassing the launcher by using the .exe and that did not work either.
I got booted about 4pm central time, now back in the game at 5p, central. I used the regular launcher.
I kept getting booted on and off, sometimes it was just my internet connection though. Running the exe worked fine.
Seems to be working now,for me at least.
The forums seem to be down as well.
Forums seem to be going on and off, sometimes they aren’t working then I’ll refresh it and it works fine.
And here I was worried about falling behind from being out of town… 🙄
I have this nagging feeling that this has something to do with the ProSiebenSat.1 deal.
Hope Im wrong.

EQ2U is slow from 4:00-4:30am PDT every day because of a scheduled backup. EQ2U’s database is already over 1.6 GB so we are going to have to come up with an alternative backup scheme. 🙂
EQ2Players seems to be working, well as well as can be expected. 😉
