Sometimes life comes at you fast! On September 10th, Linda “Brasse” Carlson posted a remote position opening to work on EQ and EQ2 Community in a very public support role (through a contractor). On the 15th she announced that Racheal “Afista“, well known to crafters and decorators in the EQ2 world for her EQ2DesignGallery.com site and involvement in the EQ2 forums, as well as part-time writer for EQ2 ZAM, had gotten the position.
Today, she introduced herself on the EQ2 Forums:
Fellow Norrathians,
I’m Racheal “Afista” McKenny and I’ll be joining the SOE Community Team working with EQII. Some of you may already know me from in game (yes, I really do play EQII !), the forums, SOE Live, or from various other forms of social media.
My journey through Norrath has probably been similar to most of yours. I began playing EverQuest in 2001 and fell in love with the world of Norrath. Some of my best gaming memories happened while I was spending days camping spawns or doing multiple corpse runs. I started playing EQII the day it was released and it didn’t take long before I was completely hooked. During my playtime I’ve enjoyed grouping, raiding, tradeskilling, and decorating. I tried my hand at PVP, but I spent more time dead than alive, so I figured I wasn’t cut out for it. 😉 Most of my gaming experience is played as a healer, but I have an army of alts I like to play once in a while as well. I’m usually some version of a Wood Elf, so I wouldn’t mind them taking over as the supreme rulers of Norrath someday.
Please say hello if you see me on in game, message me on the forums, or send me a question on Twitter @Afista_EQ2. I’m looking forward to getting to know many more of you within the community!

She will be hard pressed to fit in Margaret Krohns shoes imo Luperza was the #1 CTM we have had. Great loss to EQ2 community. I hope you do well Afista 🙂 and welcome.
