Update Notes: Tuesday May 13, 2014

Servers will be coming down for an update – from the forums:

The US EverQuest 2 Servers will come down on May 13th, 2014 at 7:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time for an update. The expected downtime is approximately one hour.

EU servers will come down beginning at 9:00 PM PT (6:00 AM CET May 14th, 2014) for the same update. Downtime is anticipated to be approximately 2 hours.

WEEKLY UPDATE
Temple of Veeshan: The Dreadscale’s Maw

• The third wing of the massive citadel to the Awakened Army has been breached! Gather a full raid party and attempt to overthrow Vulak’Aerr the Dreadscale and his generals.

Ethereal / Artifact Drops

• All Tears of Veeshan heroic missions now have a chance to reward an ethereal or artifact item. Each Artifact item will only drop for a single person on each server.

ABILITIES / ALTERNATE ADVANCEMENT
Predator

• Predator’s Final Trick will now show up in the maintained window when cast.

ITEMS

• Vital Deflection, Fortitude Stand, Evasive Posture, Evasive Twirl and Indiscriminate Counter have had their damage doubled.

PvP

• Slayer armor has been reduced in price.
• Slayer, Destroyer and Champion armor have had their toughness values equalized at the one gem champion level.
