All Access Transition Hits a few Bumps, Further Maintenance Expected

Written by Feldon on . Posted in EQ2, Game Updates & Maintenance

This may be down to statistical averages — no matter how perfectly SOE got all their ducks in a row, a few customers would still experience difficulty — or it may be that a few i’s went undotted and t’s uncrossed. Either way, a number of players are having various issues since yesterday’s All Access transition, including being dropped back to Silver or “Free” status, missing StationCash, and so forth. Clearly, not all has gone according to plan.

This was posted at noon today by Dexella on the EQ2 Forums:

We are continuing to perform work and maintenance on some back-end systems related to yesterday’s downtime with the launch of All Access.

Due to this continued maintenance, the following services may be unavailable and/or may fail:
•Membership/Account Updates
•All Credit Card Purchases (on the web and in-game)
•In-Game Marketplace Purchases using Station Cash

We are aware of these issues, and our teams are working on solutions. We will update you once these are resolved and you can continue purchases and other account updates.
